On Saturday, May 11, Br. John Terron reached a significant milestone in his itinerary as a Missionary of the Holy Spirit as he completed his academic studies of philosophy at Mount Angel Seminary, earning a BA (Bachelor of Arts) degree. He was accompanied on this joyous occasion by his mother, sister, grandmother and aunt, as well as his brother Missionaries and many friends. His graduation also coincides with the soon approaching end of the Philosophy stage of formation; he will be moving on to his pastoral internship year (EFOSA).
The graduation activities began, as they should, with the celebration of the Eucharist, which was presided by His Eminence Christophe Cardinal Pierre, Apostolic Nuncio to the United States. In his homily he reminded us that to be a true Christian we must have a deep and personal relationship with God. Following mass was the academic commencement ceremony where all the graduates were named and presented with their diploma.
Congratulations to Br. John and all the graduates!
